The wait is over... the 2008 RODEO LINE-UP Featuring Daryle Singletary & Drew Davis Band

The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Posse is a "Not For Profit" (501c3) organization, commissioned by the Sheriff, as mounted patrol police officers. The Posse serves vital needs in our community by providing search and rescue, crowd control as well as emergency and tactical capabilities. The Posse also supports groups like Reins of Life (therapeutic horseback riding for the mentally and physically challenged), Camp Milhouse, Hope Rescue Mission, St. Joseph County 4-H Horse & Pony Club's Team Tournament, the Homeless Center and other worthy causes.

Sheriff's Posse members receive no compensation for their efforts, and each member must complete a mounted law enforcement course and supply their own horse, tack, boarding, feed, truck and trailer.

To raise funds, the Posse sponsors an annual Rodeo at the St. Joseph County 4-H fairgrounds. Dates and times for the 2008 Rodeo are on their way. Help us out by attending and patronizing our sponsors, or become a sponsor. Your help is much appreciated. Thank you!
